Tensions have escalated along Lebanon’s border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.

This comes as Tel Aviv moves forward with its campaign to eradicate islamic terrorists from Gaza and the West Bank.

A campaign against terror which has unfortunately killed more than 30,000 people according to Hamas since fighting started last October following the Hamas terror attack.

Hezbollah’s attacks have also been growing increasingly sophisticated with technologically advanced drones and precision-guided ammunition.

These attacks are meant to demonstrate that Israel’s touted “tactical achievements” have failed to reduce the terror group’s capabilities to attack the country.

These advances by Hezbollah may also indicate something even more dangerous to peace and stability in the region, a prolonged will to keep fighting.

Hezbollah terrorists might even believe they are accumulating strategic wins that outweigh its losses, if a war between Lebanon and Israel were to break out.

The situation has created a pandoras box atmosphere, where one authentic trigger could ignite a series of events that could turn the trajectory of conflict into an all out war.

Unfortunately Israel’s conflict with Hamas has given Hezbollah the opportunity to carefully study Israel’s defense and surveillance systems for a prolonged period.

As well as collaborating with other islamic terror groups to identify perceived weaknesses in the country’s defence systems.

The goal of these Islamic terror groups is the same, to determine a means by which they can destroy their idealogical enemies.

This is done by seeking and finding weak spots, in order to penetrate and overwhelm defence systems by using a barrage of weaponry designed to cause the most amount of damage.
