Many speculate Biden’s troubles began with his poor debate performance against Donald Trump, where he clearly showed he was incapable of even holding his attention.

It was only days after the failed assassination attempt of his rival Donald Trump, that Biden went into quarantine hiding claiming he had caught the covid virus.

In light of the drop out announcement, President Biden has insisted he will remain president until the end of his term.

The Democratic National Convention in August will be a huge event for the party and most likely the opening scene for a Presidential candidate nominee.

Gaining Popularity

Trump has been gaining popularity from his reaction to the failed assassination attempt which has pulled him ahead in polling over Biden.

Biden possibly concerned with his recent covid infection or possibly receiving polling numbers showing less approval may have been triggered to withdraw his candidacy.

Trump was confirmed his ticket as the Republican nominee for the next American Presidential election.

He stamped his ticket at the party’s convention in Milwaukee while also naming his VP candidate JD Vance.

The event came only five days after Trump survived an assassination attempt on his life, dramatically changing the direction of the election and potentially being the force that made Biden drop out.

Not Fit to Run

After the releases of Mr Biden’s decision, Trump declared Biden “was not fit to run… and is certainly not fit to serve”.

In light of the statements by Trump, senior Republicans joined the criticism, and called on President Biden to step down from his role as President immediately.
